In the case of the Legend of the Ten Rings, however, the practitioner can control the power of the chi and direct it throughout the body without getting himself or herself into an uncomfortable condition.
Balance in this form of Kung Fu means working both sides of the body at the same time. To do this, one must have both the strength and the flexibility to move his or her arms without damage to the surrounding areas.
